The award is issued to those individuals who have demonstrated a love of conservation, community, a devotion to civics, and the mission of preserving and interpreting Smithtown history and culture. The Village of Old Field congratulates Joe for this prestigious and well-deserved award.<\/p>\n<p>For more than twenty years, Joseph Arico has served as the Building Inspector for the Village of Old Field. In that capacity, he has rendered the Village and its residents professional and effective service resulting in facilitating residential building and development while protecting the community through rigorous but fair enforcement of our building codes.
